Connect Claude Code
Add Ticker with one command, then sign in from the terminal.
Who can do this: Any Claude Code install. A free Ticker account is enough to connect.

- 1
In a terminal, add the Ticker server.
claude mcp add --transport http ticker https://api.findticker.com/mcpPrints
Added HTTP MCP server ticker with URL: https://api.findticker.com/mcp to local config
This adds Ticker for the folder you are in. To have it in every folder, put --scope user after add.
- 2
Sign in to Ticker.
claude mcp login tickerYour browser opens Ticker's sign-in page. Inside a running Claude Code session, /mcp does the same. On a machine with no browser, add --no-browser: Claude Code prints the link, and you paste back the address you land on.
- 3
Sign in, then click Approve & Connect on Ticker's page.
Prints
Authenticated with "ticker". Its tools are now available in Claude Code.
The browser tab then says Authentication successful, and you can close it.

- 4
Check the connection.
claude mcp listPrints
ticker: https://api.findticker.com/mcp (HTTP) - ✔ Connected
Needs authentication instead of Connected means the sign-in did not finish. Run claude mcp login ticker again.
- 5
Start Claude Code in that folder and ask about the ticket market.
Ticker's tools load in every new session there.
Worth knowing
Ticker needs no key
Leave out --header and any API key. Claude Code registers itself with Ticker over OAuth and refreshes the sign-in on its own.
Signed in on the wrong Ticker account
Run claude mcp logout ticker, then claude mcp login ticker, and sign in with the account you want.
Where these steps come from
Walked on a live account on 2026-09-30. Claude Code changes these menus without notice. If a name here does not match what you see, the platform docs below are the newer truth, and tell us so we can fix this page.
