Columns and signals

Every column a Screen can filter on, sort by or show: what it measures, where its value comes from, and the plan that opens it.

The screener, Views, Digests, the API and the MCP read the same list, under the names below. A Signal column is one a View hunts on, such as a price move or a demand score; the rest set the scope or a floor.

Read a column

  • ea. columns describe the event's market, e. the event itself and v. its venue. pa. columns describe the performer across all of their events, and p.name names them.
  • _current is the newest reading. _delta_7d is the change over 7 days in the column's own unit, _pct_7d the same change in percent, and _d1 or _d7 the change in a score or a rank.
  • aip in a name means the all-in price, fees included. A price without it is the seller's price before fees.
  • A column labeled SH, SG, TM, TM resale or MLB reads that one source. An unlabeled price column reads Ticker's main resale source, shown as VS where a label compares the two.
  • An as-of column says when its group's reading was taken. Gate on it so an old reading does not screen as live.
  • A z column, in σ, measures a move against the event's own normal swing: past 2 either way stands out. (peer) sets the event against similar events, the same subcategory at a similar distance from event day. (tour) sets it against the performer's other dates.
  • The type says where a value comes from. Observed is read from a market. Change compares two readings. Derived is worked out from readings. As of stamps a reading. Social reads the performer's X account, and Prediction market reads a traded chance.

Plans

A column that names a plan shows its values on that plan and above. On a lower plan the column stays in the list and its values are withheld: a Screen that filters or sorts on it is refused with the plan that opens it. A column with no plan named reads on every plan.

ea.days_to_event
Event fact, days

Event fact, yes or no
Yes while the start time is not announced.

Inventory & demand

ColumnWhat it measures
Absorbed 1d
ea.absorption_count_1d
Observed, count
How many tickets left the market on the day of 'Absorption as of': listings that disappeared, not confirmed purchases, because a seller can also pull a listing or let it expire. A ticket that comes back on sale comes off the count, so a day can be negative. Read it beside Added 1d.
Absorbed 7d
ea.absorption_count_7d
Observed, count
How many tickets left the market in the 7 days ending on 'Absorption as of': listings that disappeared, not confirmed purchases, because a seller can also pull a listing, move it to another exchange or let it expire. Read it as a stand-in for demand. A ticket that comes back on sale comes off the count, so a figure can go down later and can be negative. Judge it against Tickets.
Absorption rate 7d
ea.absorption_rate_7d
Derived, 0 to 1
The share of the market that emptied out in the 7 days ending on 'Absorption as of': tickets gone divided by tickets gone plus tickets listed on that day. From 0 to 1 whenever Absorbed 7d is 0 or more. When Absorbed 7d is negative the rate is negative too and can fall far below -1, so read Absorbed 7d beside it.
Added 1d
ea.listings_added_count_1d
Observed, count

Added 7d
ea.listings_added_count_7d
Observed, count
How many tickets sellers put up in the 7 days ending on 'Absorption as of'. A jump means supply is piling in, which often pushes prices down.
Absorption coverage

Absorption quality
ea.absorption_data_quality
Derived, 0 to 1
How complete the ticket-flow reading behind Absorbed and Added is, from 0 to 1. Low means thin coverage, not a quiet market. Keep it at 0.5 or more to leave weak readings out.
Absorption as of

As of, date
The day the ticket-flow columns describe. The 1d columns are that day, and the 7d columns are the 7 days ending on it.
Inv velocity

Secondary remaining
ea.percent_remaining
Observed, percent
Listed tickets as a share of venue capacity on the secondary market, meaning resale rather than box office. Above 100 means more tickets are listed than the room holds, which points at a wrong capacity rather than at the market. Empty when there is no snapshot yet.
Tickets
ea.tickets_current
Observed, count
Tickets on sale across every resale listing, not box-office stock. This one counts seats, not sellers.
Tickets Δ1d
ea.tickets_delta_1d
Change, count
How far Tickets moved since the day before, as a count. Positive means it went up.
Tickets Δ7d
ea.tickets_delta_7d

Primary GA tickets remaining
ea.tm_ga_tickets_current
Observed, count
Max plan
General admission tickets the box office still has, with every GA area added together, so a floor and a pit read as one total. GA floors at seated venues count too. Zero means none left. Empty means no usable GA count, which includes events with no GA section. Price columns beside it, such as Median %Δ7d, cover the whole event. Gate on 'GA as of'.
GA as of
ea.tm_ga_asof_at
As of, time
Max plan
When the box office reported the reading behind the GA count. It is that reading's own time, not when the count last changed. Filter on it so an old GA reading does not screen as live.

Demand

ColumnWhat it measures
Interest
ea.interest
Observed, score
A demand score for how much attention the event is getting on the marketplace, over a recent window. Higher means more interest, which often shows before prices move. Empty before the first reading.
Interest Δ1d
ea.interest_d1
Change, score

Change, score
How much Interest moved over a week. Steadier than the 1 day change, so better for a real trend.
Conversion
ea.conversion
Derived, multiple
Sales divided by Interest: how much of the attention turns into buying. Zero means people are looking and the Sales score is zero, which is most events; empty when nobody is looking. Gate on 'Demand as of'.
Sales
ea.sales
Observed, score
A demand score for how fast tickets are moving on the marketplace, over a recent window. A score, not a count of tickets. Read it against the event's own history, not against Interest, which runs far larger.
Sales Δ1d
ea.sales_d1
Change, score
How much Sales moved since the day before. Positive means demand is picking up.
Demand as of
ea.demand_asof_date
As of, date
The day the demand readings were taken. Filter on it so an old reading does not screen as live.

Momentum & signals

ColumnWhat it measures
Data quality
ea.data_quality_score
Derived, 0 to 1
