Your first Digest
Tap the events you care about, see the Issue your Digest would send today, then pick the hour it arrives and where it goes.
A Digest sends you a View's whole table at the hour you choose, with what changed since the last one. Each one it sends is an Issue. You build your first Digest by tapping events, not by writing filters, and it ends as an ordinary View with its Digest on.
Start
The Set up your first Digest Widget on your Dashboard opens the setup on a page of its own. The Widget stays until you save a Digest, so if you leave halfway it is there the next time you sign in. To make another one later, choose New Digest from your Views on the Watchlist.
1. Pick your categories
Tap the categories you follow. Each bubble you tap is one you want in your Digest.
2. Primary or secondary, and your markets
Say whether you mostly follow box office or resale prices. Ticker suggests the markets you are in from your profile: tap a suggestion to confirm it, or add one.
3. Tap events
A feed of event bubbles that does not run out. Tap a bubble once to mark it interested, and tap it again for not for me. Hover over a bubble, or press and hold it on a phone, to open the event's card: its get-in with a 30 day get-in chart, the venue and its capacity, the days out and the absorption. Refresh brings a new set of bubbles, and your taps shape which events come next.
Your Digest would look like this today
Ticker turns your taps into filters and shows them as chips over a preview table: the rows your Digest would send if it went out now. The chips are ordinary Screener filters, such as a category, a market, a capacity range, a get-in range and days out. The same taps always give the same chips.
Edit opens the same filters in the Screener editor. Add columns, tighten a filter or broaden one, then come back to the preview.
Choose when and where it arrives
- Hour: when each Issue arrives, in your timezone.
- Formats: the email always comes. Pick the files it links to: CSV, XLSX, PDF or Markdown.
- Destinations: a Discord channel, a Slack channel or a URL that also gets each Issue. See Send a Digest to Discord or Slack.
- Alerts: off to start. Turn it on to also get an Alert when an event enters the View.
Save creates the View with its Digest on. It sits on your Watchlist beside your other Views.
After you save
Your first Issue arrives at the hour you picked. It has nothing to compare against yet, so it is the whole table under Your Screen today. From the second Issue on, it opens with Movers, New and Gone. See Read an Issue.
To change the hour, the formats or the Destinations, or to turn the Digest off, open the View and use its Digest card. Your plan sets how many Digests can be on at once, and the card shows how many you use, like "1 of 5 Digests".
