Read an Issue

What Movers, New and Gone mean in a Digest, what the first Issue shows, and where to find every row.

An Issue is one Digest as it was sent: the View's whole table at that hour, kept so the link in the email opens the same table later. Each Issue is compared to the previous Issue of the same Digest, never to a calendar day.

The three sections

An event is in one section at most. The rest of the table follows them on the Issue page and in the files.

  • Movers: events still in the View whose get-in moved since the previous Issue. To count, the get-in moved at least $15 up or down, it is now at least $75, and the event has 5 or more listings. Rises come first, the largest percent change first, then falls, the largest drop first. An event that moved less stays in the rest of the table.
  • New: events that entered the View since the previous Issue, the newest announcement first.
  • Gone: events that left the View since the previous Issue, with their last get-in.

The first Issue

A Digest's first Issue has no previous Issue to compare to. It is the whole table under Your Screen today, the soonest event first. Movers, New and Gone begin with the second Issue.

The email

Every Issue arrives as an email with the subject Your Digest: and the View's name and date. The first line says what the View screens. Then Movers, New and Gone, each up to 50 rows, with "and N more in the file" when a section is longer. Each event links to its event page, with its date and the codes of the markets it is on, like VS or TM.

At the foot: View this Issue, and a link for each file format the Digest is set to (CSV, XLSX, PDF, Markdown).

The full Issue

The files and the Issue page carry every row, with no 50 row cap. The files are made when you open them, from the stored Issue, so they always match what was sent.

On the View's page, the Issues tab lists every Issue by date with its count per section. An Issue page shows Movers, New and Gone as the same table the Screener uses, with the download menu and previous Issue and next Issue. Issues are kept for 90 days.
