Update Watch

Changes or deletes something you own.

Use this to change triggers or delivery on one event already watched. Use watch_event instead to watch a new event, and set_watch_defaults to change what future watches start with. Change which triggers are armed on a watched event, or how its alerts are delivered. Only the fields you pass change; a trigger you do not name keeps its current setting. Triggers: price_z (unusual price move, on by default); pct_move (price % move); absorption (tickets leaving fast): Measures listings that disappear, which is not the same as confirmed sales.; demand (demand spike): A day-over-day change in Interest, not a z-score. Coverage is still filling in, so quiet events may never trigger it.; lifecycle (on-sale, presale, event week, low inventory, on by default). Changing a threshold re-learns the event's current state first, so an edit never fires an alert by itself. A threshold outside its range is refused, never clamped: the error names the field and its min and max, and the watch is left as it was.

Parameters

NameTypeRequiredDefaultNotes
event_idstringyesThe watched event to update.
triggersobjectPer-event trigger overrides, e.g. {"price_z":{"enabled":true,"params":{"threshold":2.5}}}. Omit to use your saved defaults. A value outside its range in list_watch_triggers is refused with an error naming the field and its min and max, and nothing is written.
