set_watch_defaults
Set Watchlist Defaults
Changes or deletes something you own.
Use this to change the trigger set every future watch starts with. Use update_watch instead for one event already watched. Change the defaults a newly starred event inherits. THIS IS ACCOUNT WIDE: it changes every future watch the person makes, not one event, so say so before you call it and read get_watch_defaults first to see what is there. Events already on the watchlist are left exactly as they are; use update_watch for one of those. Only the fields you pass change, and inside triggers only the trigger keys you name change. list_watch_triggers is the catalog of keys and ranges. A threshold outside its range is refused, never clamped: the error names the field and its min and max, and the saved defaults are left as they were.
Parameters
| Name | Type | Required | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
triggers | object | Per-event trigger overrides, e.g. {"price_z":{"enabled":true,"params":{"threshold":2.5}}}. Omit to use your saved defaults. A value outside its range in list_watch_triggers is refused with an error naming the field and its min and max, and nothing is written. | ||
notification_mode | string | How a new watch delivers by default. One of instant, digest, muted. | ||
destination_ids | string[] | Destinations a new watch delivers to by default, from list_destinations. An empty array clears them. |
