Ticket market data

Ticket market data for every event we track.

Ticker reads the listings for each event on the primary market and on resale, prices them, and keeps every reading. You see what is listed and at what price, how much of each section is taken, and how much attention the event draws.

What Ticker measures

Primary listings
Tickets on sale from the box office, with their face prices, counted apart from resale.
Resale listings
Tickets sellers list on the resale market: how many listings, how many tickets, at what prices.
Lowest and median price
The cheapest ticket and the middle of the market, for the event and for each section.
Taken share
The share of a section's seats no longer open on the primary market, section by section.
Seat map
Where the open tickets sit in the venue, for the events we cover at seat level.
Demand
How much attention an event draws, tracked over time and charted against its price.
Peer rank
How an event prices against comparable events: same category, same days out, same tour.

Where you read it

The app
Event pages with price history and the seat map, a screener over the whole market, and saved Views that alert you when an event matches.
Your AI
Connect Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor or Perplexity and ask about any event in plain language. Connect your AI
The API
The same readings as JSON, for software you write. Ticket data API

What it does not have

Ticker has no sold comps. Marketplaces do not publish what a ticket went for, and we do not estimate it. When a seat leaves the primary market we record it as taken, because from outside a hold and a sale look the same. Resale prices are what sellers ask. Ticker does not sell tickets.
